Road Accident Fund is offering internships for the academic year 2017 / 2018 in Pretoria. Candidates must be unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 35. The Internship program will run for a period of twelve (12) months and the interns will receive a monthly stipends during their placement. Take note that candidates who have already attended on an internship/ learnership program will not be considered.

Supply Chain Management Graduate / Intern
Certified copy of a National Diploma or Degree in SCM, Procurement, Purchasing, Public Administration / Management, Logistics, BCom with majors in Business Management & Economics
Work based exposure;
Records management and related duties
Participate and contribute to contract management work
Participate and contribute to tender management and administration
Participate and contribute to request for quotation (RFQ) and related work
Participate and contribute to BBBEE and Enterprise & Supplier Development work
Responsible for reporting
Strategy and Planning Graduate / Intern
Certified copy of BSC / BCOM / National Diploma / NQF Level 7 or equivalent
Work based exposure;
Updating and maintain the filing systems on a daily basis and archiving files as appropriate;
Ensure electronic filling of all documents within strategy and planning
Manage all outgoing correspondence to external stakeholders
Responsible for drafting strategy and policies upon request
Desktop research
Policy and strategy development
Facilitation of all RAF business units strategic planning sessions
Coordinate all strategy and reporting activities.
Road Safety Graduate / Intern
National Diploma in Transport Management will be added advantage
Work based exposure may include the following:-
Assist to coordinate and implement road safety programs, initiatives and awareness campaigns.
Assist to analyse roads infrastructure challenges, facilitate for the implementation of remedial measures, (speed humps, signs, potholes and markings).
Assist in soliciting support for road safety interventions from various stakeholders.
Assist in promoting direct claims through all platforms where road safety campaigns are conducted.
Participate in Shareholder and Stakeholders Forums i.e. 365 Days Road Safety Committee, Road Safety Summit Committee; Interprovincial Road Traffic Management Co-coordinating Committee.
Participate and support the Shareholder’s initiatives such as Siyabakhumbula, Easter launch, October Transport Month and Festive launch.
Assist in coordinating and implementing RAF on the road- Road Safety campaigns.
Assist in developing road safety messages for various platforms of communication.
